Role Overview:
As our IT & Security Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the ongoing success and security of our organization. You’ll be responsible for managing and optimizing our IT systems, ensuring seamless operations, and implementing robust security measures to safeguard our data and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Google Cloud Infrastructure Management: Lead the management and optimization of our Google Cloud platform to ensure optimal performance, security, and cost-effectiveness.
• Google Workspace Administration: Administer and maintain Google Workspace to facilitate seamless collaboration and communication across the organization.
• Identity and Access Management (IAM): Oversee user access to our IT systems, ensuring proper authentication and authorization protocols are in place.
• DNS Management: Manage DNS settings to ensure efficient and secure internet operations and email delivery.
• IT Security Oversight: Develop and enforce robust security protocols to protect organizational data and infrastructure in preparation for ISO 27001 certification.
• Backup and Recovery Processes: Implement and oversee backup strategies and disaster recovery plans to ensure data protection.
• Hardware Management: Manage all hardware aspects, including procurement, maintenance, and upgrades.
• Wireless Network Management: Ensure stable and secure Wi-Fi connectivity throughout the organization.
• Vendor Management: Establish and maintain relationships with IT vendors, negotiating contracts, and managing service delivery.
• Software Asset Management (SAM): Manage software licensing, compliance, and inventory to optimize investments.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a similar technical role, preferably in the financial services sector.
• Strong knowledge of Google Cloud Infrastructure, Google Workspace, DNS, and IT security.
• Experience with backup and recovery processes, hardware management, and Wi-Fi solutions.
• Practical understanding of network security, Kubernetes systems, load balancing, and WAF configuration.
• Experience in configuring public and private networks, including secure, remotely-accessible VPNs and cloud infrastructure proxies.
• Excellent vendor management skills, including leading IT audits and external security teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
